This course helps participants understand
how they can respond positively to change
and help others to do the same.
The techniques for managing changes and transitions will increase your organization's capacity for achieving results from its change efforts.
Understand the Process: Those who understand the dynamics of change are better equipped to analyze the factors at play in their own circumstances and to adopt practical strategies for moving through change. This section teaches participants to explain change and why it must happen (planned or imposed), differentiate between change and transition, and describe the cycle of change and transition and how people move through it.
Encourage Positive Responses: Those working through change initiatives will need to set an example by demonstrating both the attitude and behaviors that are needed to make the change work. After setting an example, the focus is on helping others align their attitudes and behaviors. Will changes be embraced by everyone on your team? Probably not. Therefore, participants learn how to recognize resistance (even when it is covert) and minimize it.
Align Communications: Communications can make or break a change and transition effort. This section teaches participants how to communicate for outcomes and monitor the communication components of change
and transition.
