Whether new to project management or managing projects for some time, this course helps participants build on their strengths and gives them a clear path for organizing and managing their projects.

Creating Project Plans: Participants learn to determine sequence and schedule, document a project schedule and budget, create a critical path and a documented project plan, and select a planning and scheduling tool to monitor and report project progress.

Implementing Plans: This portion of the course focuses on practical ideas for putting the plan into action and dealing with the details – and bumps in the road – along the way. This includes staying on the critical path, keeping the team motivated to produce quality outputs, and staying within budget. Exercises provide participants with hands-on experience in the course.

Closing Projects: Proven tools help project managers execute, control, and close out projects. This includes analyzing lessons learned, obtained formal acceptance of deliverables, and reviewing results with stakeholders. Participants have an opportunity to use these tools in the course.
